Please check that the delivered goods are complete. Do not erect your building on a very cold or windy day. Ensure that a sufficient space is available for erecting the shed. A suitable foundation should be laid as according to the size detailed in the assembly manual and ensure assistance is available for installation. Please take the time to read the required assembly instruction manual in advance!
How do I prepare the base foundation for my shed?
The shed should be securely anchored to a firm level base - concrete is advised. Concrete should be laid with a minimum of 75mm thick at approximately 25mm above ground level. A sheet of heavy duty polythene placed under the base area will help prevent dampness rising from the ground into the shed.
The size of the concrete should be at least 100mm greater than the overall size of the metal base frame - please see assembly manual for the correct base frame size.

Assembly Tips and Advice
Safety, Care and Maintenance
Please do not assemble the shed in windy or rainy conditions. Keep children away from the shed during its construction.
Please keep the roof clean and free from additional loads. Large amounts of snow or other debris, for example, twigs and leaves on the roof are likely to damage the shed and make it, therefore, dangerous to enter the shed.
Further information can be found in the instruction manual regarding further safety, care and maintenance for your shed.
Advice on building your shed
Always read the assembly manual carefully and follow each step in the correct order.
When constructing the roof on the ground as indicated in the assembly instructions - always ensure the roof frame is square before attaching roof panels.
Larger sheds will require overlapping of parts - please ensure you have the correct overlap when constructing the base and roof beams. The overall length will always be stated in the assembly manual.
Advice on adjusting the height of the shed doors on your shed
On occasion that the shed is constructed on uneven ground - it is recommended to adjust the height of each door accordingly. The door height can be adjusted by selecting one of the 4 pre-punched holes at the top of the inside of each door. This will increase or decrease the height of each door.
It is recommended to use a small amount of lubricant such as WD-40 to the horizontal door track as well and applying a small amount around the black plastic sliders which the doors hang on. This will assist the doors to be opened and closed.
Advice on making your shed watertight
It is recommended to use a wet sealant product and seal around the base rail on the inside of the shed to stop any surface water running across into the shed from outside or from entering into the shed from the pre-punched holes on the base rail. A wet seal and fix silicone will provide the best results.
Advice on preventing condensation inside the shed
It is recommended to attach polystyrene (25mm thick) to the underside of the roof between the roof beams. This will help regulate the temperature inside the shed reducing the amount of moisture build-up, having the shed doors open at intervals in winter will help improve airflow through the shed if you do experience condensation build-up during times of extreme temperature change.
